About Pilates Beginners Course
Discover the difference Pilates can make to your life with our Pilates Beginners Course. This six-week Pilates beginners course works to improve your mobility and strengthen your core stability using a variety of pilates positions. With Irek leading the class, you will receive personal, hands-on attention from the teacher, ensuring correct form and quality of movement.
This Pilates beginners course is the perfect place for complete beginners or for those who have tried Pilates a few times and want to learn more in a safe environment.
At the end of the six weeks, you will have gained a deeper understanding of Pilates, it’s benefits, and the confidence and motivation to join our general level Pilates group classes held throughout the week!
Is this the right course for me?
This course is for you if you’re a total beginner to Pilates and would like to learn from scratch in a supportive environment with others who are also new to the practice!
This course is also for you if you’ve been practicing Pilates but would like to return to the fundamentals under the watch of an experienced teacher.
In this course, you will learn the basics of Pilates. This includes:
– How to safely and correctly do basic Pilates exercises
– How to apply the Pilates principles
– Individual posture
– Posture modifications
During our course, you will receive personal attention from Irek Bialek, Pilates Instructor, and work at a slow pace that means you’ll learn the basics thoroughly, step by step.

What do I need?
Please download Zoom beforehand by clicking here. If possible, a Yoga/exercise mat would be great. Otherwise, you can use a blanket.
When and Where?
Classes will run every Wednesday evening from 7:30pm to 8:15pm.
You can participate by signing up to join in the studio or join virtually through Zoom.
Meet the teacher
Teaching private and group Pilates since 2015, Irek has in-depth knowledge of human systems, kinesiology, biomechanics, and health and fitness.
With Irek, you will focus on learning the fundamentals of Pilates which will help to improve your posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension! His years of experience teaching complete beginners in group and private settings will help you to build fundamental body strength and general fitness.
